The interoperability with Skype will allow Altitude Software contact center customers to gain access to 480 million Skype users, by adding Skype as a new interaction channel to their Altitude uCI™ platform in the contact center.

The ease, simplicity and cost of dialing a company center using a skypeid, from any Skype client will surely attract many users.

Enterprises Can Now Offer a “global toll free” with Altitude + Skype

Enterprises can use the new functionalities to set up single “global toll free” service, and provide managed support to customers calling via Skype to the contact center, thus reducing costs while delivering the same service level. The possibility to route and manage Skype calls inside the enterprise will appeal to a number of organizations since they will be able to keep the same control and service level goals as for other managed interaction channels.
