Altitude Launches Americas Innovation Lab

New Solution Development Center in Brazil Enables Local Digital Transformation Knowledge and Capabilities.

Lisbon, Portugal, June 19th, 2017 – Altitude Software, a global provider of omnichannel solutions to deliver great customer experiences, today announced that it is opening the Americas Innovation Lab, a new solution development center in São Paulo, Brazil.

The Americas Innovation Lab main goal is to develop and bring to market local digital transformation knowledge and capabilities, and to accelerate innovative processes and solutions for introduction in the regional and global market.

“The rules of customer engagement are changing fast. Altitude, together with leading companies and organizations across Latin America, is developing solutions that leverage digital transformation and social and economic change, to innovate in the acquisition and retention of customers” states Alfredo Redondo, Altitude CEO. “The Americas Innovation Lab will accelerate the productization and worldwide adoption of solutions and technologies first developed in the region”.

Mobility, internet of things and artificial intelligence to impact on customer experience

“The Lab innovations will help us meet the demand for new solutions that help companies profit from ongoing digital transformation in a developing and dynamic region” states Frederico Dias; President for Latin America at Altitude. “It is part of our commitment to continue to invest, develop and have an impact in a region that is very important for the company”.

The Americas Innovation Lab is part of Altitude’s R&D organization, led by Chief Technology Officer Miguel Vital, and is headed by Francisco Virgilio, an experienced Altitude executive with over 20 years’ experience developing and managing customer interaction management solutions and projects in the region. The Lab team will work with a network of technology and business partners to accelerate the go-to-market.

“The Lab will focus on the development and application of technologies like Big Data, the Internet of Things and Omnichannel interaction to engage with a growing class of “digital natives” that are changing the rules of the customer interaction game” stated Francisco Virgilio “Other promising areas of innovation include the application of mobility technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning in areas such as customer service and debt collection, to create new services for the customer and the brand”.
